I'm getting excited. My glads are out of the ground and growing like crazy. And this year, there will be a lot of glads, due to a happy accident.This spring I ordered 150 glad bulbs. I waited and waited, but they never arrived. I checked my invoice and saw that I had accidentally ordered them from Holland. (Sometimes they send them to you when the growing season is correct, not necessarily when you placed the order.) So, I made a note to order earlier next year and ordered 150 more from another company.
The mail arrived and both orders came in at the same time -- 300 beautiful glad bulbs. I planted like crazy and every nook and cranny of the yard has glads sprouting. Now I'm waiting to again, this time to see what colors they are going to be, as I ordered some white, but mostly mixed.
